🚗 i4Driving Experimental Data Collection using driving Simulators and Test Tracks
✨ We’re excited to host a webinar conducted by 👉 Johan Olstam (Swedish National Road and Transport Research Institute) and 👉 Tanja Niels (Technical University of Munich) on the experimental campaign behind i4Driving and how it supports calibration and validation of the human driver model.
During the session, we’ll explore:
🔹 The aim and setup of the i4Driving experimental data collection (driving simulator + test track)
🔹 Driving simulator studies across four sites: urban scenarios (VTI & TUM) and motorway scenarios (CTAG & UNINA)
🔹 Test track experiments in regular and critical driving situations, including a highway cut-in with an ultra-flat overrunable (UFO) and critical urban scenarios with virtual road users
🔹 Main experimental designs, Key measurements collected (including driving performance, gaze, and effort-related data) and findings from both simulator and test track studies
