Here we have a stunning 1965 ford Mustang coupe. This Mustang was built at Fords Dearborn plant in 1965 and left the factory on November the 10th. It was purchased and sold into a Ford Main dealer in Chicago. More recently it was imported from the states and taken to Italy where it was subject to a high-end restoration. The body is superb, and the panel fit and attention to detail is superior, giving it a show winning standard throughout. The black paint has an amazing finish, the depth of shine is exceptional. The cockpit has been completely renewed, with an outstanding full leather interior added in red. The quality of the leather is equivalent to a modern luxury car of today. The full interior including dashboard, gauges, steering wheel sun visors, headlining, seat belts, carpets etc have also been renewed.
Our client who purchased the car from us, decided that this Mustang was of the standard he desired, due to the fact that he and his wife wanted a car in their collection that they could use to enjoy themselves in the “five star rally’s”. These were events planned in France and Europe, unfortunately these plans are no longer, due to illness. Our client wanted to add a few quality extras which we added for him. These included electric power-steering, a new Tremec 5 speed gearbox, rear brake discs, rear anti roll bar, new dampers, and various other smaller items. Thus, making this Mustang the full package for anyone wanting a touring car or a show winning example of an early Mustang. All extras have been sympathetically added to incapsulate the Classic Mustang driving experience. The driving experience is remarkable bearing in mind this car is 58 years old and the upgrades it has, equates to a very enjoyable ride/drive
