Chandranath Hill,Sitakund

Описание: Chandranath hill is the highest peak in the western hill range of Chittagong, Bangladesh. This hill range is the part of Easter hill range of Himalayas. Sri Chandranath Temple (Hindu temple ) is located at the top of the hill.

There is a footprint of lord Buddha in front of the temple.

The temple is considered as a Shakta pitha and is a pilgrimage site.
Many festivals are celebrated at the temple-Shravan month, Lord Chandreshwar Buthnath Zatra.
It is about 1152 feet high. There are many waterfalls from the hill and 2 of them are Sahasradhara & Suptadhara.
