This year's Alexander Lecture was titled "International Investment Arbitration and the Search for Depoliticisation" and was delivered by Toby Landau KC C.Arb FCIArb.
The Alexander Lecture examined the role of depoliticisation in the genesis, development and justification of international investment arbitration; subjected this concept to a detailed critical analysis; and evaluated it as a guide in charting the future of this field.
Catherine Dixon, CEO of Ciarb, introduced the Lecture and the Q&A was moderated by Jonathan Wood, President of Ciarb.
The Lecture was delivered in-person at Ciarb Headquarters in London and streamed live for our global audience.
