Описание: Sometimes, hospital nurses can be the most important witnesses in our case. They see, hear, and report things that are crucial for physicians to know. In this case, our client developed a blood clot after leg surgery at a hospital in Shelbyville. His circulation was impaired and his condition grew worse by the hour. This nurse and others tried to call the surgeon and inform him about the danger, but the surgeon did not heed the warnings nor return to the hospital to see the patient. The patient's condition deteriorated so much that he had to be transferred to a major hospital in Nashville for a higher level of care because he was in a life threatening condition. The only way doctors at the Nashville hospital could save his life was amputating the patient's leg above the knee. This left the patient wheelchair-bound for life. We took this nurse's deposition to prove how our client's condition deteriorated so badly while the surgeon did nothing to help. No nurse wants to testify against a local surgeon and neither did this one. She told the truth and did the right thing.
