If you use many devices to run your imaging session you want to start thinking about cable management as it plays an important role in astrophotography. In this video I share my practices and show how I organize my setup. I have just one cord running from the telescope to the ground, and the rest of the cords are mounted on the tube of the telescope.
At the end I share some pictures of galaxies I was taking during the last few weeks using the telescope I’m talking about in the video.
Gear that I used to take pictures of galaxies:
Telescopes: Sky-Watcher Evostar 80ED + 0.85x focal reducer
Mount: Sky-Watcher HEQ-5 Pro
Camera: ZWO ASI 2600 MC Pro
Guiding: 60mm guide scope + ZWO ASI120mm-mini
Filters: Optolong L-Pro + ZWO Duo Band Filter
