नेशनल कॉन्फ्रेंस के प्रवक्ता इमरान नबी डार ने दोहराया है कि जम्मू-कश्मीर सरकार ईरान में पढ़ रहे कश्मीरी छात्रों की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने के लिए पूरी तरह प्रतिबद्ध है। उन्होंने कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री उमर अब्दुल्ला स्थिति पर कड़ी नजर रखने के लिए भारत के विदेश मंत्री के साथ लगातार संपर्क में हैं। इमरान नबी डार ने बताया कि मुख्यमंत्री ने विदेश मंत्री एस. जयशंकर से बात की, जिन्होंने आश्वासन दिया कि ईरान में कश्मीरियों के जीवन और हितों की रक्षा के लिए सभी आवश्यक कदम उठाए जा रहे हैं और उन्हें आवश्यक सहायता प्रदान की जा रही है। उन्होंने आगे कहा कि रिपोर्टों से संकेत मिलता है कि ईरान में स्थिति धीरे-धीरे सुधर रही है और उन्होंने उम्मीद जताई कि हालात स्थिर बने रहेंगे।

National Conference spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar has reiterated that the Jammu and Kashmir government is fully committed to ensuring the safety and security of students from the region who are currently studying in Iran. He said Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is in constant communication with India’s External Affairs Minister to closely monitor the situation. Imran Nabi Dar stated that the Chief Minister spoke with External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, who assured that all necessary steps are being taken to safeguard the lives and interests of Kashmiris in Iran and provide required assistance. He added that reports indicate the situation in Iran is gradually improving and expressed hope that conditions will continue to stabilize.
