EDF 6 M117 AR very productive weapons farming online mission Inferno ( Earth Defense Force 6 )

Описание: This mission is very good for farming since it yields a huge number of crates, and you can even farm it endlessly (approximately new 60 grey ants each 40ish secs). Although this is an offline run the basics of what the AR should do on this mission are here, and the explanation for online is further down. Offline the mission is not very interesting as collecting all crates with the AR will be risky and time-consuming, and other classes will take too long to do it.

The main weapons for the AR here are the Tempest ATS (Tempest AT will work too even online) and the Phobos 4. Offline the Vulcan M2 or 105mm Cannon Z will help a lot when you'll have to run away from the ants, and yes that will surely happen. The vehicle is the Grape, the only one that can escape the ants. However, be aware that the Grape is dangerous to use in EDF 6 and you can be in a terrible position easily! Try not to collide with anything and be careful accelerating while turning or going up small slopes. A4W in the backpack for self-defense, but beware of the long reload time.

ONLINE

It's very unlikely I'll publish online runs videos with others so it's just the explanation. It's easy though.

To do this online easily you'll need an AR and at least one very mobile class, either a WD or Fencer, the more the merrier. Ranger isn't a good idea, as a third class it's ok, but alone with AR he'll likely die.

AR should be with almost the same loadout as offline, but change the Vulcan for KM6 Z4. Go ASAP to the area left of the start, to the slope after the base end and stay there the whole mission if possible.
The mobile class should stay around the base edges, just dragging enemies behind him but keeping them far away from the AR and picking crates.
Spine Driver + YH7 Dispersal Mortar with Dash Cell + Add Booster are good options for the Fencer.
For the WD a low-energy Rapier and Gleipnir or Blink Ball with a core that will not run out easily (VM Jet Core is a really bad idea, boost enhancement cores are only good for specific situations and this is not one of them).
The Fencer has a huge edge over the WD for this role, as his movement speed, lack of core rebuilds and good weapons without energy use make him way better than the WD.
The 128 crates limit on the map will be reached shortly, so keep picking crates.

To FARM ENDLESSLY when there are 2 pylons in the map, just destroy 1 preferably the one down from your start view and position. The next 3 will drop and the 4 pylons will spawn a huge amount of grey ants at very short breaks. Just be careful if farming at this point that KM6 Z4 will surely destroy the pylons and Phobos likely too. Use RZ and mobile classes weapons to kill ants, and keep picking crates with the later.
Every 40ish seconds a new wave of up to 60 ants will drop, the number depending on how many are still alive from previous drops. This is a huge number as no other mission drops so many enemies at once in regular intervals.

The final wave of pylons is not very interesting for farming as they only drop 2 ants at long intervals and they will be too spread to be easy to kill.

The mission flow is mostly the same, use Tempests on queen ants and the final pylons wave, and the Grape's gun to destroy other pylons. A4W for the hopefully not necessary self-defense. Phobos and KM6 the ants mobs. KM6 can also hit the first pylons. At least no running away will be likely needed.

It's pretty stupid but now Tempests need less points than a Phobos 4... For some reason the former stayed the same while the later were tripled in comparison to EDF 5.

One of the best missions for weapon and even armor farming online, with weapon levels 65-91. You can get easily 30ish to 50ish weapon crates per mission, and that is very good considering most EDF 6 mission yield around 10. Even good in lower difficulties. Offline it's not so good.
