The location of 951 hectares of Shalun farmlands was handpicked by renowned film director Ang Lee.The Shalun farmlands are vast and close to the high-speed rail station and a national highway in an excellent location. Film director Ang Lee was optimistic about its potential as a base for international film and television. It will not only have the potential to cultivate more film and cultural talent, but also help promote the development of Taiwan’s tourism.
