"Mother Earth" is from Within Temptation's second studio album. The song indicates that nature is actually the force that rules over all and not man as we might believe. It speaks about the endless power of Mother Earth and that no being can ever tame her or stand in her way (Hawaii's Kilauea volcano proved that over the last 2 weeks!). It also speaks of the Earth never dying but that man will perish, which underlines the fact that mankind must fade away so that nature can be preserved.
