Replacing Engine Cooling Fan - 1999 BMW Z3 2.8 Roadster E36 - The Hidden Grenade!

Описание: In this YouTube video from Auto Knight, I replace the plastic cooling fan on my 1999 BMW Z3 2.8 Roaster E36 in Arctic silver, fitted with the straight 6 (6 cylinder) petrol (gasoline) M52 engine (M52B28) and mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.

The cooling fans on these cars can become hardened and brittle with age resulting in sudden failure / disintegration which is often called ‘grenading’. Fan blades can detach sending the resultant shrapnel into the radiator, bonnet, or other components, causing damage. Replacing this fan is preventative maintenance.
