In 1984 The footage begins with the crowd cheering for the student’s execution. A young man, His name was Sadiq Hamed Al-Shwehdi, a 30-year-old Libyan student who had been studying abroad in the United States.
He was accused of conspiring to assassinate the leader of the Libyan revolution, Muammar Gaddafi.
