Welcome back, everyone. In this video, we are continuing where we left off with building our power plant for our 1968 Oldsmobile 442 restomod project. We are taking our LM7 5.3L base truck motor and installing our 363ci stroker kit that we got from CNC Motorsports. This particular stroker kit includes a K1 4in stroke crank, Forged K1 rods, and Wiseco -7cc stroker pistons and comes internally balanced by CNC Motorsports. The kit also comes with optional upgraded rod bearings and wrist pins. You have the option of the stock 5.3/4.8 bore size of 3.780 or the 5.7 bore size of 3.800. In addition to the additional displacement, the biggest benefit for us from installing this stroker kit is we now have a fully forged bottom end that should handle the twin turbo setup just

fine and get us to that 4-digit horsepower number.

On top of the stroker kit, we also fixed a small hangup with our Stage 2 Turbo Camshaft from Texas Speed and Performance. Our "In house" engine builder may have had a little too much to drink we assembly the pistons and rods which made for a pretty big "oops" moment and a few hours of extra work for us. But in the end we got the stroker kit and camshaft in.
