On November 9th, 2025, a man prowling the 4th floor of the 100 Ferry Street parking garage in Weehawken, New Jersey, gained unauthorized access to a locked utility closet and then attempted to enter a nearby vehicle. What he didn't realize: Tesla Sentry Mode was watching. The car, a 2023 Tesla Model Y, captured the entire scene as it unfolded and automatically alerted the owners.
