This is a rare historical footage archive of the German Army at war with Soviet Russia’s army and In 1939, U.S. President Roosevelt sent a letter to Hitler, requesting that he refrain from attacking certain countries. Hitler, however, mocked this letter in a speech before the Reichstag, reading it aloud in a sarcastic tone. One of the countries mentioned in the letter was Russia. Just two years later, the Germans invaded Russia and came close to the gates of the Kremlin. However, due to the patriotic defense of the Russian people, the situation quickly turned against the Germans, and three years later, the Russians entered Berlin.
