Perfect day tour near Guwahati | Soloka Dare Waterfalls, Chandubi Lake & Chang's Resort

Описание: On the ocassion of Independance day, we decided to visit Soloka Dare Waterfalls from Guwahati. It was a 80 kms journey by road. After having a delicious lunch and spending some beautiful time playing at Chang's Resort in Rani near Accoland, we continued on the Mirza - Rajapara road.

The jourrney was not smooth, the road was under construction and there were patches of rough road. Soon we reached our destination after bit of off roading. The Soloka Dare Waterfalls lies almost in the border between Assam & Meghalaya. The refreshing beauty of the waterfalls was very relaxing. As it was Independence Day, there was a huge crowd on the spot but amidst the crowd we managed to grab some peaceful time on the spot.

After leaving the waterfalls, we went to the famous Chandubi Lake, which formed as an aftermath of the massive 1950 earthquake in Assam. From there we started our return journey to Guwahati, this time on through another route via Batarhat Chowk near Mirza. This road is in good condition.
It was a perfect itinerary for 1 day tour to offbeat places near Guwahati.
