Описание: The Lord came to visit Abraham and Sarah in their old age, long after He had first promised to make Abraham’s descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky. During that visit, He spoke of Sarah and declared that she would bear a child in the coming year. Overhearing this from inside the tent, Sarah laughed to herself. The Lord then asked why she laughed, revealing the private thoughts she had spoken inwardly. He followed this by reaffirming His promise that when He returned at the appointed time, she would have a son. Even then, Sarah denied having laughed, and the Lord corrected her denial.
