■ Sherri Connell is a co-founder of the Invisible Disabilities Association. Former singer, dancer, actress, model and accounts manager. Sherri lost her career, horses and ability to care for her daily needs at 27. She lives with Progressive Multiple Sclerosis, Late-Lyme Disease, Traumatic Brain Injury and Chemical Injury. ■ Gilbert Wheeler is a pilot and the founder and president of On Laughter Silvered Wings (OLSW). Before Gilbert's Traumatic Brain Injury, OLSW used aviation activities to teach the value of achieving goals, staying in school and avoiding drugs, alcohol and gangs. Gilbert was also chosen to be a Channel 7 "Everyday Hero" in 2008.

■ Pete Ohlin's daughter is battling Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS). Pete is a musician who discovered his passion for music after the death of his sister. Pete's music helped him endure the loss of his sister and now others living with loss, PTSD and depression are finding his music therapeutic and soothing. PeteOhlin.com

■ Cassandra Perkins has been a role model, speaker and radio host since she was in her teens. She has also been a caregiver to her mom, who lives with chronic illness and to her dad when he had a Traumatic Brain Injury. Cassandra features guests on her radio show who have made a difference in the world and who can offer hope to others. Cassandra is also blind in one eye.

■ Wayne Connell is the founder and president of the Invisible Disabilities Association. His wife, Sherri is the inspiration for the organization. Wayne is passionate about bringing awareness, education and support to the world for millions living with illness, pain and disability.
