The bandwidth of the instruments, the measurements accuracy, the logic clock rate, and the maximum output frequency vary between different models of the series. SF880 offers a better than 100 dB dynamic performance in audio range frequency response analyzer, a 1 GHz oscilloscope bandwidth, a 150 MHz frequency generator, and a 200 MHz logic analyzer clock rate.
The fully automated frequency analyzer performs gain, phase, and impedance-analysis for frequencies of up to 150 MHz with a dynamic range of better than 100 dB in the audio range. It also offers a measurement frequency resolution of less than 1 Hz.

The oscilloscope offers a time base that can be adjusted from 1 nS to 100 mS per division. Its vertical scale can be set from 20 mV to 20 Volts per division for a 10X probe, and 2 mV to 2 Volts per division for a 1X probe.
To facilitate signal viewing, it provides the user with a number of triggering options including alternate triggering.
Oscilloscope's features, such as “signal parameters", enable the user to automatically analyze a wide variety of signals.
The series arbitrary waveform generator offers over 20 popular signals, including; "sine," "square," "ramps," "white-noise," "modulated functions" as well as the ability to edit and generate arbitrary signals.
Powerful signal editors including insert, pen, and line along with copy, cut and paste complement other features of the generator.
A library of DSP functions such as "windowing," "filter," and "math" operations make signal manipulation seamless.
Another unique instrument within the product is a frequency and phase meter. It measures the frequency of any periodical signal with frequencies from 10 Hz to 1 GHz. It automatically presents channel 1 and 2 signal frequencies, displays their phase-difference and the corresponding phase jitter. The instrument features a 0.1 Hz frequency resolution and a relative accuracy of 0.01 ppm.

The product series also offers a data recorder with a flexible sampling rate setting. With a timing resolution that can be adjusted from 500 nS to 365 days per division, it offers the user the ability to monitor and save the behavior of most signals.

A logic-analyzer and a pattern-generator are two other instruments accompanying the product. They enable the user to generate and analyze various data groups and popular protocols such as: SPI, Quad SPI, I2C, SIM, and 1-Wire.
The instruments incorporate a 1 mega bytes buffer memory, and a precision clock with a range of 100 KHz to 200 MHz that can be adjusted by the user. An intuitive graphical user interface with a selection of signal editors including; line, text, and math editors complements these instruments.
Each instrument provides the user with an assortment of features, making generation and analysis of signals seamless.
For applications which require more than the standard 2 channels of the oscilloscope, additional units can be connected to the PC through other available USB ports.
The demo application software helps the user to review various features of each instrument.
