Описание: Faded Promises is a poem/song I wrote regarding my father. My childhood was not a happy or good one! A lot of bad things happened that destroyed and blew my family to pieces!
The word "Father" should be sacred, it should mean something, mine however soiled the word!
After many years of being absent he returned and for what!? "Forgiveness"!?
How do you pick up the pieces of something so wrong when so much time has passed!?
The answer..., you can't!
Sadly I didn't choose well partner wise and this song also has meaning for my own mini me, only different but the bases is there. It hurts my heart and soul for her, I never wanted her to feel what I have felt over the years. I don't know if my past has influenced my decision making where partners are concerned but I never did find that one person that truly loved and cared about me.
I now find the single life is the way to go, my poor heart can't take another failed romance.
