Vintage Peavey Solo Series Bandit 112 (1989-1995) The Solo Series 112 introduced many new features, the most notable being an increase in power to 80 watts RMS and a choice between Peavey's Scorpion speaker and Peavey's newly introduced Sheffield speaker. Many of the innovations that would later be branded as "Transtube" were included in the Solo Series 112, but the name "Transtube" had not been adopted yet. There have been several different versions of the Solo Series/Bandit 112 but they all share the same manual and the same control layout. One of the more popular variations is known as the "Teal Stripe" or "Blue Stripe" Bandit due to a blue horizontal stripe below the control panel. The Solo Series 112 was made in Meridian MS USA. This amp was bought new in the early 90's, made in the USA featuring 80 watts output, bulletproof construction, a great clean channel with lots of clean headroom. It can go quite loud and has no problems keeping up with a loud drummer. The clean channel has a very flexible EQ, and makes a great platform for pedals.
These amps have been building a loyal following due to outstanding build quality, low maintenance, solid state design and a loud, clear clean tone. This amp has no issues, it is in great condition having been little used, and only home use at that - all the potentiometers and switches have recently been cleaned and checked and everything is in proper working order .

Great sound. Lots of sound combination potential. The foot switch for the effects and channel select is not included.
