A Kimberley-based sangoma and general secretary for the association of traditional healers in South Africa staged a two-day celebration to mark his journey as a traditional healer for the past three decades.
The sangoma says he wanted the celebration to coincide with the country marking 30 years of democracy.
He says the democracy attained in 1994 has made it possible for traditional healers to work freely and gain recognition.
