Finally did it. I know its such a minor ambition but when I first started to become more active and outdoorsy years ago; The Cheviot was always this facinating target on the horizon. Over the years I have gotten nearer to it a couple of times but was always going to be a bit of an excursion for somone without a car. The best way for me to travel there and experience it was with an overnight stay.
