Peugeot 307 Feline vs Audi TT in the rain, Donington Park, 14/12/19

Описание: My 200bhp Peugeot 307 Feline versus a stripped-out Audi TT coupe on the Donington Park National Circuit. This was my first ever experience of circuit racing on an extremely wet track. My driving was quite timid, but if I'd pushed harder and been more aggressive, I would have left the TT behind fairly easily. An unexpected result, and one in the eye for 307 haters.

The car was incredibly stable all day although the standard brakes started to fade. The car's impressive straight line and cornering speeds were remarked on by the instructors. There was virtually no handling reduction in the wet meaning the car can be raced in all weathers. Next time I will be a lot more confident and hopefully have a better camera.

Anyone wanting a race at Donington Park should go for it, it's an incredibly fun track, but don't do what I did and let too many other cars past unless they're clearly quicker than you -- it's your track time too, and you'll regret not giving battle to the enemy!!

BC Racing V1 coilovers, 60mm drop all round, camber angle adjustment.
Polyurethane bushes all round, polyurethane drop links.

Continental Premium Contact 6 tyres all round, wider and lower profile than standard.
Custom sports exhaust with sports cat.
Iridium plugs and new coil packs.
Remap.
Two rear spoilers, front splitters, black lights, flared wheel arches, 17" Peugeot Aidel wheels dipped gunmetal silver, red brake calipers.
Interior: model-specific, fully integral red leather, black lion badges on headrests, silver centre console dipped in black.

Upcoming mods: EBC Yellowstuff brakes all round, grooved and vented. Exterior badges. Possible weight reduction measures.
