Tesla China Launches October Offers for Model 3 and Model Y

Transcript: Drive Tesla Canada is reporting that Tesla is launching a wave of purchase incentives in China this October, with significant perks for Model 3 and Model Y buyers. For the refreshed Model 3, Tesla is offering an $1,100 insurance subsidy, five years of interest-free financing, and 3,100 miles of free Supercharging for orders placed between October 1 and October 31. There’s also a $1,100 paint credit available for those using Tesla’s referral program, which brings down the cost of premium colors.

The widely popular Model Y is also getting five years of 0% financing and that same $1,100 paint credit. Tesla’s newer six-seat Model Y “L” version comes with a slightly shorter deal: three years of interest-free financing plus the paint discount.

Buyers of premium models like the Model S and Model X aren’t left out either. Tesla is now letting current owners transfer their paid Full Self-Driving package to a new vehicle—a move that could save them thousands of dollars.

These incentives are part of Tesla’s ongoing push to boost sales in China, its most competitive market.
