Tour of Handsworth Park | Places to visit in Birmingham

Описание: A wonderful park with bunch of playing and leisure facilities for family and sports seekers as well as birds feeders.

Something happened at the park that really touched my heart: I happened to gaze at ducks very closely while they were being fed fresh bread by humans. Out of the blue, a bread touched my fingers that drew my attention towards my hands, the bread was accompanied by little hands of a little girl - which she thought that I would have liked to use it to serve the ducks flock!
I was ‘words-stuck’, the only two words came out of my mouth were “awe, thanku”! This is unusual in the UK to be honest as no one seem to go beyond a mile because that’s how the culture is here. Why on Earth would you give offer something without being asked for it? People often would think of intent behind action then considering it as basic human instinct!
My understanding is that the little girl was with Asian guardian (perhaps her grandfather) which likely might have suggested her to do so, perhaps they read my mind? Perhaps my skin colour was friendly-similar to theirs? Perhaps they might have offered to a few people before but for me- I witnessed it for the first time in the UK.
If you see it, this is a simple act of kindness which has been extenuated by pandemic that we are all human race and we must empathise!
