The 2020 Civic Si's Sport Mode plays extra engine noises through the speakers. Honda calls it Adaptive Sound Control, but there is NO MENTION of this anywhere in the owner's manual or any sort of brochure for the car.

Why would Honda add this to the Si but not give us a way to simply turn it off in the settings?
Well, I took my glove compartment apart and found the Adaptive Sound Control module and unplugged it. It worked. No more added engine sounds in Sport Mode!
