This is a special video for a couple of reasons. First and foremost, you get to see the Queen, Bernadette Flynn, in a performance that's never before been released. This is only about six months or so before Feet of Flames in Hyde Park; as with everyone else in the show, it's amazing to see how Bernadette had grown into the role of Saoirse, and for the first time you can see that more experienced level of performance taking place on the original LOTD stage set. If you take into account all of her performances -- commercial video sales, TV appearances, live onstage, etc. -- Bernadette Flynn is almost certainly the most-seen female #IrishDance professional in the world. Hers is very elegant #IrishDancing, and it is amazing to witness.

Another special treat is that you get to see, for the first time on video, Dearbhla Lennon performing the role of Wind-Up Doll. Dearbhla is one of the legendary OG Troupe, but there's never been publicly released footage of her performing this role before. Here you see her onstage with the legendary Helen Egan as the Little Spirit, in one of the most hauntingly beautiful moments that endures through every iteration of the show.

Planet Ireland is the Little Spirit's dream, and that dream is at its most beautiful and graceful in this number: Celtic Dream.
