In less than 24 hours Americans will head to the polls to choose the next president of the United States.
Al Gore is campaigning around the clock, stopping at four key states on Monday alone.
The Democratic presidential hopeful told supporters in Missouri that voters in the "show-me state" should show George W. Bush they don't agree with his policies on Election Day.
It's a last push for the finish in what is being called the closest U-S presidential race in decades.
Al Gore brought his marathon final day of campaigning in the mid western state of Missouri, where he urged union members to get out and vote on Tuesday.
SOUNDBITE: (English)
"According to our constitution there is one day that comes around every four years - when you have the power. And the special interests tremble at the thought that you will penetrate the veil, lift the smoke screen, see clearly the interest of your loved ones and your families. That day is tomorrow. I need your vote and I need your support."

Gore told more than a thousand cheering supporters that their future is on the line, repeating his theme that he's the candidate who'll advance workers' interests.
Gore aides say they're confident that while they may trail slightly in the polls - they'll end up winning enough electoral votes to claim victory.
The vice president told his supporters to not just think about election day, but the day after.
SOUNDBITE: (English)
"All the focus is on tomorrow and what you're going to do. But I want you to consider just for a moment how you'll feel the day after tomorrow when you wake up on Wednesday morning. You know, this is likely to be a long night tomorrow night, a close race, a lot of votes to count. You may not know until you wake up on Wednesday morning."

Gore went on to paint a scenario where voters might wake up on the cold, dreary morning to dreaded news on the front page of their local paper.
SOUNDBITE: (English)
"Peel off the front page and hold it up to the light and you see "Bush". (Crowd shouts "boo") There is another option!"

Earlier in the day Gore was in another mid western state, Iowa, visiting campaign volunteers.
Gore spoke in the cold driving rain, telling supporters that it all came down to them and their ability to get out the vote.
SOUNDBITE: (English)
"You're the ones that are going to make the difference in this race, because this is such a close contest."

Iowa, which has seven electoral votes, has voted for a Democratic candidate in the last three elections.
Michigan and Florida are the next stops for Gore before he finally heads home to Tennessee to vote and await the returns.
