Описание: Tamil Nadu-based Milky Mist Dairy is a company manufacturing its products from 100% milk. It makes various types of products from milk like lassi, curd, paneer, butter, ghee, frozen pizza, mishti doi, khova, cream, shrikhand, milkshake, gulab jamun. The brand was founded by Satish Kumar in 1997. He was only 16 when he dropped out of school and took over his father's milk distribution business. Since the business was running in loss, he decided to grow it and support his family. Initially, they started Milky Mist Dairy as a cheese brand that sold paneer in restaurants and hotels. And gradually they launched some other products as well.

They have a retail network of 1.5 lakh outlets to sell their products as well as recently launched an e-commerce app, which is doing deliveries in Kochi and Chennai. This brand of theirs buys milk, processes it, prepares and sells about 20 types of products. For milk procurement, he has 60,000 farmer members in 8 districts of Tamil Nadu from whom he procures milk. The amount is directly transferred to the bank accounts of the farmers. About 1.5 million liters of milk are processed daily at their processing units.

Milky Mist Dairy has Asia's largest cheese manufacturing plant. Their factory runs entirely on sustainable energy which includes wind and solar power farms. Milky Mist has also started a live parlor in Cochin where customers can use their products and then buy them. Since it has received a good response, they plan to open more live parlors in the city.

Milky Mist Dairy generated a revenue of Rs 928 crore in FY 2021. Along with this, he has also received funding of 149.6 million. It will use the money to augment and expand supply in India and globally. It aspires to be the market leader in the dairy and food products category.
