Описание: On this 8 day tour, our travel guests explored the past and present African influences found in Veracruz, Mexico. Our tour for this small group included a visit to the small town of Yanga to learn the history of Yanga Gaspar, a renegade enslaved man in the 1500's. They also explored the city of Veracruz, shopped for leather goods in Naolinco, learned more about the history of the Olmec Civilization at the Xalapa Antlhropology Museum, visited a children's orphanage, and shopped for coffee in the Pueblo Magico town of Coatepec. Another highlight was to meet the Afro-Mexican people who live in the town of Coyollilo and to see up-close the festival masks they make there.
