prions:
prions are sub-cellular particles, acellular particles or noncellular particles, cause diseases in animals and are proteins in nature. prions don't have any rna or dna. prions are misfolded beta pleated sheets. they cause neurodegenerative diseases in animals and humans.

viroids:
viroids are small, circular, single stranded rnas lacking protein coat. viroid is also a sub-cellular particle that infect plants. hepatitis d is also caused by a circular rna.

viruses:
virus is acellular particle having both proteins and rna or dna. virus is an example of acellular life, sub-cellular life or noncellular life.
classification of viruses:
3 types of viruses on the basis of morphology which are spherical, rod and tadpole shaped.
3types of viruses on the basis of host which are plant viruses, animal viruses and bacteriophage.
