We ship sale barn calves bought from Tennessee and northern Alabama. We ship everything from roping calves to 850 Lb, weaned, black steers. We process them the way you say for $1.50/head. These calves walk on the truck with a full belly. Common shrink from pay weight is 2%-3%. We have unloaded calves heavier than the pay weight. While we are putting a load together they are in 15-30 acre, outside, shaded traps. They get a free choice mixture of our own blend of medicated feed, hay, and fresh water.
