महाराष्ट्र में स्थानीय निकाय चुनावों को लेकर आज का दिन बेहद अहम है। 15 जनवरी को हुए मतदान के बाद आज इन चुनावों के नतीजे घोषित किए जाएंगे। सुबह 10 बजे से मतगणना शुरू होगी और उम्मीद है कि दोपहर तक साफ हो जाएगा कि किस पार्टी को कितनी नगर निगमों में सत्ता मिली है। राज्य चुनाव आयोग के अनुसार कुल 893 वार्डों की 2,869 सीटों के लिए डाले गए वोटों की गिनती की जा रही है। इन नतीजों पर पूरे राज्य की नजर है, खासतौर पर मुंबई, पुणे, ठाणे, नवी मुंबई और पिंपरी-चिंचवड़ जैसे बड़े और अहम शहरों पर, जहां का राजनीतिक असर पूरे महाराष्ट्र की राजनीति पर पड़ता है।
