Описание: This video presents a new mechanical tool innovation — a one-hand operation ratchet socket wrench with a sliding type direction-changing mechanism located near the handle.

This design improves the usability of conventional ratchet tools by relocating the direction switch from the ratchet head to the handle. The sliding mechanism allows technicians to change the rotation direction easily using the thumb while maintaining grip on the tool.

The mechanism is internally linked to the ratchet head through metal rods and secured with a locking system to prevent accidental switching. This allows efficient one-hand operation, especially when working in confined spaces.

This innovation has been submitted to the National Intellectual Property Office of Sri Lanka.
