Jewish Context for Matthew 27: Crying “Hosanna!” One Day and “Crucify Him!” The Next

Jesus ministered primarily to Jewish people, as he said he came for the "lost sheep of the tribe of Israel." Although his adversaries were Jewish, so were his followers.

The trial and crucifixion of Jesus likely happened very early in the morning, when the "Hosanna" crowd would have been sleeping, explaining the different responses.

We cannot generalize "the Jews" as a whole - crowd; there were both Jewish followers and Jewish opponents of Jesus, just as there are today.

We must be able to hold in tension the fact that there are Jewish believers in Jesus as well as Jewish people who oppose Jesus. God loves all Jewish people, even those who oppose the gospel, are called, present tense “beloved” in Romans 11, for the sake of their ancestors.
