In this Physics video in Hindi we solved some numerical problems based on the hydrostatic paradox for class 11, IIT-JEE and NEET. Hydrostatic paradox states that the pressure at any point in a fluid does not depend upon its shape and the base area. The pressure depends upon the height of the fluid column above the point.
We solved the following problems -
1) In the following figure there are three containers with same base area. Those are filled with liquids of density 𝜌_1,𝜌_2 and 𝜌_3 and mass 𝑚_1,𝑚_2 and 𝑚_3 respectively. The height of the liquid columns are ℎ_1,ℎ_2 and ℎ_3 respectively. The pressure at the bottom of the containers are 𝑃_1,𝑃_2 and 𝑃_3 respectively. Given, 𝜌_1=𝜌_2 = 𝜌_3 and ℎ_1=ℎ_2 = ℎ_3. Which of the following relation is correct?
