A major factory fire has broken out on Kimberley Road in Dandenong South, with about 40 firefighters battling the blaze for more than three hours. The fire engulfed a 30 by 60 metre factory containing highly flammable lighter products and threatened to spread to an adjoining property filled with hydraulics. Approximately 200 people were relocated and multiple roads were blocked, though no injuries were reported as the factory was empty at the time.
