No. 5 LSU defeated No. 7 Florida 42-28 in Death Valley to improve to 6-0. Ja’Marr Chase recorded seven receptions for 127 yards and two touchdowns. Justin Jefferson tallied 10 receptions for 123 yards and a touchdown.
LSU held Florida to seven points after halftime and scored the game’s final 21 points to seal the victory.
Next up for LSU is a road matchup at Mississippi State on Oct. 19.
