In the latest phase of the escalating Israel-Iran war, media reports say Israeli intelligence hacked Tehran’s traffic camera network years earlier and used it to monitor the movements of Iranian security forces and bodyguards. One camera’s angle reportedly helped identify where senior officials, including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and his aides travelled around the Pasteur Street area — knowledge that helped build detailed “patterns of life” on their movements.
