Tools Needed
Nitrile Glove
Safety glasses
10mm open wrench
10mm socket
13mm socket (for C2 fuel pump location to remove batt. and plate)
Screw driver
Hammer
File (if needed for pickup feed latches)

Parts Needed:
Fuel Pump: (P/N: 996 620 133 00) I got mine from www.autoatlanta.com

As you know with any Porsche repair project, this one doesn't come cheap. The pump cost around $399.00. Ouch... This project only took about 30 minutes with the added filing I had to do to make the pick up latches seat properly. A few tips when doing this project:

1. Work in a well ventilated area
2. Wear gloves and safety glasses
3. Disconnect the battery!
4. Have plenty of rags to catch any dripping fuel

Before pulling out the sending unit and fuel pump, be sure to allow the fuel to drain. This way you will not be dripping fuel all over the car as you remove it.
