Putting 35” Tires on My Tacoma | Lock Offroad + American Roadstar

In this video, I take my Tacoma to Ed Whitehead’s Tire Pros in Casa Grande, Arizona, where the crew removes my old wheels and tires and installs my new setup: 17” Comando's from Lock Offroad paired with 35” American Roadstar RT tires.

Big shoutout to Branden, the shop technician, for mounting and installing everything perfectly. I also chose the unique red sidewall lettering option on the American Roadstar tires, which gives the truck a clean but aggressive look compared to the standard black-letter sidewall.

After the install, the team at Ed Whitehead’s put the Tacoma on the alignment rack to get everything dialed in and ready for the road and the trail.

This upgrade is a huge step in my Tacoma build. I’ll be posting a future video on trimming the fenders to properly fit the 35s for off-road use and full suspension articulation.
