Come and join us on another family adventure; this time to Victoria's most picturesque landscapes, the high country.
We travelled without our camper this time, staying at the popular Alzburg Resort in Mansfield. Day 1 was spent exploring Mt Stirling and Craigs Hut. There are a couple of Huts and tracks about , but the is the one we were most excited to explore. Day 2 we decided to travel to Mt Buller and see the village without snow. Mate, were we wrong! By the time we drove to 600 Meters we could see snow! Snow began to fall from the branches, from the oncoming cars and we were in awe. What an experience! Although we weren't dressed in our snow gear, we take a little walk, gave the kids a little play and back to the resort we went.
The Alzburg has something for everyone. We always stay here wether its over New Years by the pool, or over night during the snow season. Its the perfect hub and close to everything you need to make your visit absolutely awesome.
Speak to anyone that goes 4 wheel driving, adventurer or camper and they will tell you that the Victorian High Country is in their top 5 of places to see and do.
