World War II Bomber Crash Site Near Tofino: Hike

Описание: A hike to a crashed bomber site on Vancouver Island, on Radar Hill, near Tofino and Long Beach.
At 23:00 on February 12, 1945, the Canadian military aircraft Canso 11007 set off from the harbour at Tofino, BC, Canada, but crashed into Radar Hill soon after. The wreck of the aircraft is still there 71 years later, and it's a popular destination for hikers in the Tofino / Pacific Rim National Park area. All 12 onboard the aircraft survived (the Wikipedia link below says that there was only minor injuries).
