Mother's Way ~ XT3 + Fujifilm XF 35mm f1.4 R Lens Video Test and Sample Footage

I've found myself asking on Fuji video shooters the question, "Do you ever use your 35mm f/1.4? And is it any good?".

The answer is always the same, "No, because the autofocus is too noisy."

But what if you're happy to shoot with manual focus? I realised that, seeing as I have the lens, I could just test it out myself. So I did.

All shot handheld with manual focus on the Fuji XT3. I must admit I struggled to focus on fast-moving subjects, but the shake and micro-jitters were nowhere near as bad as I had imagined.

What do you think? Do you shoot video with the 35mm f/1.4? Would you do so on an XT3 or would you only do it with a camera with IBIS?
