Make sure to use substitution for any time he swings his sword. For the second fight spamming your support is critical, as the damage adds up and keeps you out of range. Generally you want to be more passive for this fight as Merz has many punishing attacks, when he goes into rage mode dodge until he tires himself out then go in for a flurry of damage. When he does not get tired wait for him to go back to consistently firing the rotating chakra balls ranged attack before timing it to go in for damage, as this attack is only consistently used when he’s not in rage mode.
