Sun Valley, CA.
After a three year long abscense, LA Sanitation's Discover Recycling Open Houses have returned! I was super fixiated on heading to the frist one of the year so I came down to LA to go to the EV Open House in Sun Valley. It was a fun day! Although a majority of the time I was there I was mostly standing in line to operatebthe trucks lol. It was so cool to touch an Amrep again and use the controls.
I did my best to record most of the happenings here, as well as just a little tour of the trucks out to operate. I didn't have time for the ride a long so i walked out into the yard to open some trucks and see what jumps out at me lol. I have yet to film any trucks out of this yard, maybe one day cause the drivers rev the Octos good.
All around fun day, plus I got to see some of the LA filmers again and chat away about garbage trucks for a minute lol. I hope to keep attending at least one of these events every year, they are too much fun not to go. Thanks to all involved who make these events possible!
