Whisky .com tastes the Springbank 17 years. This limited bottling matured in fresh Sherry Butts, Refill Sherry Butts und Hogsheads. These give it the dark color and flavor.
The nose:
Peaty, sherry, fruits, Christmas cake, oranges, spicy, honey
The taste:
Spicy, oranges, espresso, licorice, marzipan, sherry, oakiness
The finish:
Medium
