The Quran Institute provides a nurturing environment that cultivates within us the spirit of the Qur’an and revives in us the hope of a meaningful existence as a whole community. It teaches us to grow out of the dull ache of individualism and the pursuit of desires, and to gravitate towards a life of learning, worship, and service.

Suhba is the family-oriented student environment that fuels the engine room of volunteership. In a world where everything is transactional and mercenary, our “secret sauce” lies in the relationships we forge through ilm, khidma, dawah, and mentorship. Suhba is the shelter, it's a home away from home for so many who have had breakthroughs in their own spiritual growth and now want to strive for something greater than the sum of our parts, to serve for a higher purpose.

Our volunteers produce £250k worth of khidma and dawah work -often at times, most people are busy and with skillsets that most people don’t have. Almost 80k hours a year create the love, support, and development that flow back into the lives of those who serve.

The community needs help and support, and the volunteers at TQI want to please Allah and spiritually enrich their own lives. All of our grassroots efforts, from Mehron Nisa Women’s Centre, the Youth Sanctuary Centre, to the “bring a dish” community gatherings and the bake sale stalls at Subha events -it's all free at the point of access.

In the end, it's not the food, the decor or the speaker, it's the company -and that’s what Suhba means: to be in positive spiritual company.
