My first trail ride on the Husky FE501 2022 model. There's about 3hrs on the bike at the time of filming. First service was complete with the fitment of a aftermarket full Akrapovic Exhaust system and the Akrapovic map tune was loaded onto the bike to suit. When you buy this bike new, there is a FMF and Akrapovic Exhaust upgrade option.
Map Setting 1 = Less Power
Map Setting 2 = Most Power
TC = Traction Control
After riding this bike on trail, I absolutely loved the TC setting. As soon as the Power is applied there is a slight break-out and wheel spin and within a second traction is grabbed. At first I didn't like it because I would usually anticipate the breakout and let the tail kick out and ride accordingly, but with a 501 i think the thing could literally spin all day so it's very handy to apply direct Power and hold it. I did have the TC off for some of the ride but found the bike to be very very tail happy and my mate was getting roosted big time
Love the bike, recommend to all. I have motards coming for road use I might add. Cheers for watching
